What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Lifti builds automation systems and websites for local service businesses, from Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Lifti. Privacy questions go to info@lifti.ai.

What we collect on this website

When you book a free audit, we collect what you choose to give us:

  • your name and your business name
  • the type of business and the work you would like taken off your plate
  • your email address, plus any other contact details you add

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • to reply to your request and run your free audit
  • to send you information you asked for, such as a proposal or a price
  • to keep the website secure and working

We do not sell your personal information. We send marketing emails only if you agree to receive them, and every email lets you unsubscribe, as Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers. They may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to local law:

  • website hosting (Vercel)
  • form delivery for audit requests (FormSubmit)
  • web fonts (Google Fonts), which receive your IP address when the page loads
  • the email, calendar and accounting tools a customer chooses to connect

We share information only as needed for these purposes, or when the law requires it.

Data from our customers’ businesses

When a business uses Lifti, we connect to tools it already uses, such as email, calendar and invoicing, with its permission. We process that business’s customer information only to provide the service, under the business’s instructions. We do not use it for our own marketing, and we never ask for or store account passwords: connections use each provider’s secure sign-in.

How long we keep it

We keep audit requests for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for no longer than two years if you do not become a customer. Customer data is kept for the length of the service and deleted or returned when it ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email info@lifti.ai and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access limited to people who need it, and providers that meet recognised security standards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
